Body & Mind Reset - Week 1: Lower body Stretch & Strength

As we begin the new year it’s natural to reflect all aspects of our lives and to want to or sometimes feel pressured to make changes. You may be looking to do some yoga as a New Years resolution, or maybe a way to step away from the pressures of other goals and plans. 

Whatever is drawing you to the mat, just know that in this moment you are enough, and whatever your physical practice looks like today it is enough 🙏🏻

In our physical practice throughout the month of January we will be building from the ground upwards. 

This week’s physical focus will be on your lower body: stretching, opening and strengthening to feel grounded, supported and capable of whatever life might have in store for you both on and off of the mat. 

I will give you options as you move through your practice, please listen to your body and be kind to yourself in your practice. Give yourself permission to maybe stick with some of the lower options and really explore them and immerse yourself in them rather than competing with yourself to always do more. Try not to focus too much on what your postures look like, just how they feel for you ❤️
