<p style="margin: 18px auto;">Happy Kat Candles &amp; Gifts is the brainchild of Creative Candle Designer Kathy Fogle. Kathy, also lovingly known by family and friends as “Kat” creates a unique variety of beautifully handcrafted candles that look good enough to eat, as well as a fragrant assortment of all natural soy spa candles.</p><p style="margin: 18px auto;">Kathy started making candles as a hobby in 2004. After working most of her life as a licensed cosmetologist, she decided to turn her creative passion into a business in 2017. Later that year, she opened a small gift shop inside of  NODA@28th Creative Art Studio located in the art district of Charlotte. In early 2018, Kathy entered and won Northlake Malls’ very first “Battle of The Pop Up” competition which earned her a retail location inside the local mall.</p><p style="margin: 18px auto;">In addition to her candle creations, the gift shop also features a beautiful selection of carefully curated merchandise created by local artisans. Items include all natural body/skincare products, ceramics, jewelry, children’s gifts, apparel, inspirational gifts, gourmet edibles and more.</p><p style="margin: 18px auto;">In addition to serving customers at their flagship at Northlake Mall in Charlotte, NC, she supplies candles to nearly 100 retail, museum and hospital gift shops across the US, Canada, France and Germany thanks to wholesale platforms such as Faire and Abound. </p><p style="margin: 18px auto;">If you’re looking for some hands on fun, you can also sign up for various Happy Kat Candles’ Sip &amp; Pour candle making parties or book a Private Sip &amp; Pour party with your friends/family. </p>
