TANDOORI LAMB KEBAB BURGERS & TOMATO CHUTNEY!
It's what we I will be teaching you how to make at this *Thursday's* Live Cookery Class!
I am so excited to share my juicy spicy kebab burger recipe. Topped with sweet & sticky tomato chutney and pickled lime onions, it's the best way kickstart the Summer. I will be making them in my grill but if the weather is good, you can also heat up your BBQ!
If you would like to cook along with me on Thursday, you will need:
375g minced lamb (you can use quorn mince if veggie 🌿)
1/2 onion (50g), very finely diced
4 cloves garlic (15g), peeled
3cm ginger (15g), cut into rough chunks
10 stems fresh coriander
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder (optional)
1 1/2 tsp tandoori masala
1 tsp tomato puree
30g cheese, grated
4-6 burger buns
For the Tomato Chutney:
2 tsp panch phoron or nigella seeds
1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
3 medium tomatoes (approx 250g)
4 tbsp sugar
½ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp chilli flakes
Wire tray and baking tray
Ahead of the class, please:
- Pre-heat your grill at maximum temperature (or get your BBQ hot)!
-Keep your lamb mince chilled (we need it cold for the class so no need to take it out ahead of time)
-I will also be marinating thinly sliced red onions and pomegranate seeds in lime juice ahead of the class and will use as a relish so feel free to prep these too :)
