As a new parent it can be a bit of a minefield navigating the early years. You may have attended antenatal classes and got support to plan the birth but once you bring baby home, it can feel quite bewildering. The support seems to evaporate. As a Registered Nutritionist, I'm passionate about food and passionate about health. As a mum, I wanted to give my first child the best food I could afford and had time to prepare but it was hard to know what to do. I did a lot of learning!
I don't just want my children to be healthy though. I want all children to have access to good, healthy food which is presented to them in a healthy way.
I now have 3 children and have helped numerous families with their nutrition. I have answered hundreds of parents' questions through weaning sessions and one to one consultations (and at the local toddler group) but I want to help more families, many of whom don't have time to attend a course - or have the finances to do that.
That's why I have created this service . It's your chance to be able to ask questions and know that you won't be judged or given wacky advice in the process.
Food is so important for baby's wellbeing not just now but well into the future. In fact research suggests that early feeding patterns - what baby eats and how they are offered foods - can have an impact on their long term health including their risk of certain diseases like diabetes and cancer.
We all want the best for our children so help is on hand.
For just £5 a month you can have access to my knowledge and experience through a private Facebook group. You can ask questions, read the answers to other people's questions and search the many posts which have been put up about children's nutrition. I also post new hints and tips on a regular basis.
Give it a try, for the cost of a cup of coffee, you can get support which will last you far longer. Click here to subscribe
