Breitling will fully transition to lab-grown diamonds for all of its watches using diamonds by 2024 according to Georges Kern CEO of Breitling. Making the diamonds traceable and conscious of the environment.

The Breitling Super Chronomat Origins is retailing for $19,500.

“Consumers are increasingly reflecting on the products they buy and what goes into them. We want to give them those answers upfront,” said Kern. “Super Chronomat Origins is one step on a transformative journey at Breitling. This is just the beginning.”

Readers can expect to see more watch brands using lab-grown diamonds instead of mined diamonds in 2023.
