Happy Sunday to 3,531 motivated writers 👋🏼
How’s everyone doing? Is it just me or is time just FLYING right now?!
First off, thanks to everybody who's been sharing blogs with me. I’m planning on featuring them over the next couple weeks so stay tuned.
If you want yours featured too, shoot me a reply with a link and 2 sentences about it. I’ll add it to the round-up!
Okay, so what else is going on? Learning. 🤓
Now, while I say I’m always trying to get better, let’s be real. That’s not always the case. I’m trying to change that.
Right now, I’m taking a writing course and it’s pretty amazing. I’ve never been a big course person. IMO there’s a lot of crap out there.
But, honestly, this one is different. For me it’s lifestyle coaching disguised as a writing course.
In fact, my biggest takeaway has nothing to do with writing.
It’s about turning up to any situation with the right energy. That energy is infectious (ain’t no vaccine for this!). We call it that that ‘HONEY, I’m home’ energy (if you know, you know 😉).
Basically, it’s about turning up with so much positivity, so much energy, that the people you’re with can’t help but just get carried along.
Crack a joke, give a compliment, JUST BE HAPPY. It's amazing now much this shift in mindset makes you and everybody else feel better.
Okay okay, enough preaching. I'll hop off the soap box....
... And let's dig in!

1️⃣ Resource of the week
Building a network as a freelancer
Here’s a great guide from friends of TWJN, Harlow.
It's a great reminder on the benefits and best practices of networking as a freelancer.
We all know how strong referrals can be. Your network is key to this. Samantha does a great job in breaking down tactics you can implement today.
My fave are the online spaces she mentions (slack communities, FB groups etc.)
Check it out here!
