Restore your connection to yourself.I&#39;m a 200-hour CYT (Certified Yoga Teacher) — currently pursuing my 300-hour — specializing in vinyasa with additional training in restorative, chair, and meditation. I have over 120 hours of teaching experience since opening Karmic Yoga in Seattle in July 2021.The idea for Karmic Yoga came to me during a walk through my neighborhood. I realized that I’d been at a spiritual crossroads in my life. My soul felt depleted from working jobs that didn’t align with my values. I knew I needed to make a drastic change if I wanted to begin following the path that would lead me to a more truthful life. And since doing so, I&#39;m happy and honored to be able to help others on their journey towards self-discovery and authentic living as well.I offer in-person classes and membership, as well as an option for an on-demand digital membership. Urban Acorn is a flexitarian food company dedicated to fusing meaningful food traditions with contemporary needs and expressions. This means we sometimes veganize popular dishes, find cleaver and mindful ways to create food fusions and honour the artistic quality food brings to the table. An academic at heart, Fitrion is a collector of grand ideas and a natural storyteller with a penchant for etymology. She loves to explore the connection between food, culture and communication. As a freelance writer, her most recent is an intersectional project called Voodoo Haggis Stories (@voodoohaggisstories) which looks at the role food and food fusion play in understanding interracial indentities. ******************** About our Executive Chef: Daniel Holloway Executive Chef Daniel Holloway of Urban Acorn Catering believes great food is achieved by harnessing bold flavours from humble ingredients. A trained chef with over 15 years in the culinary industry, Holloway has catered for high profiled clients such as Margaret Atwood, Prince, former Lieutenant Governor Michaëlle Jean and Vegan athlete turned deputy general for the green part of Canada, George Laraque. Chef Holloway’s signature style can be best described as refined comfort food, a blend of rustic Canadian cuisine with fine French techniques. He is currently working as a viennoiseries chef in Toronto. Just like ideas, acorns begin small with the hopes of becoming something big, strong and meaningful. This was the initial push behind Urban Acorn; a Flexiatarian Catering company in the Baby Point, founded by husband &amp; wife team Chef Daniel Holloway and his &#39;Boss Lady&#39; partner Marie. Their mostly plant-based approach to cuisine, allows them to seamlessly create menus to both omnivores and vegans. Their philosophy is simple, Food should unite, not divide people.
